For the composition, although landscape is often used to show the entirety of a place and contextualize the subjects, we preferred to shoot it in portrait, precisely to exclude the things that were on the side of the teepee and give more emphasis to the bride and groom, and the teepee as a whole. We always like our photos to have the main point of interest centered, and that ends up being kind of a rule for us, so we followed our pattern and made the photo.
Center Framed
Since the subjects were not moving too much and we had enough light (thanks to the lights from the teepee), we simply moved our focus point over the center of the image and had no issues focusing.

The way the EXIF is written out follows the common photographic method (with the inclusion of White Balance at the end). Here it is broken down:
Shutter Speed @ Aperture ISO White Balance.
The lighting in this image came from all the lightbulbs from the teepee. Since they were all above our couple, they basically filled the whole area. We didn’t have much control over this but fortunately it all worked out really nicely.
Artificial Light
Night
While editing this shot with our Meraki presets, we paid careful attention to not letting the lights blow out. We adjusted the highlights keeping them low to avoid this, and we gently tweaked the rest of the sliders to have a balance between the highlights & shadows. We also didn’t want to lose the ambiance of the image, so we kept the scene feeling like an evening shot.
There wasn’t much of a challenge in this shot, just in the whole construction of the marriage concept. There was only one moment when it rained a lot and we were a little worried
The best solution is to have everything more or less with a backup plan to know how to get out of difficult situations like this.
